Montessori Education (UK) recognises the aim of education is to aid the natural processes of development within children so that they may realise the potential with which they were born.

As such, all settings undergoing the Montessori Accreditation must follow the Montessori Education (UK) early years curriculum, which covers the areas listed below. Any Montessori environment with qualified members of staff will already be following this curriculum.
