Friends of ME(UK) was initially known as 'The Montessori Early Years Forum' and was established by Montessori Education (UK) in 1996 and is run under its auspices. The Forum's purpose is to give Montessori practitioners the opportunity to:

  • meet regularly to discuss and share Montessori practice
  • discuss and debate government policy, and the impact on Montessori practice
  • provide continuous professional development and local networking.

After consultation with Montessori Early Years Forum (MEYF) coordinators the Council of Montessori Education (UK) have decided to re-launch and reorganise the way in which MEYF and ME(UK) work.
